This small concrete planter is hand-cast in Peckham.

Black Basalt – Made from Black Basalt sourced in Shropshire; the planters feature an inky black stone set in black pigmented Portland cement. We offer two different finishes for this colourway - matte or satin gloss. The matte surface of the original Black Basalt planter shows subtle flecks set in a charcoal. The satin gloss finish of our Black Basalt with Beeswax planter highlights the dark flecks and gives the surface a slight sheen.

Each planter is formed in a Peckham studio using carefully sourced aggregates and the highest quality Portland cement. The planters undergo a four stage polishing process, which reveals the aggregate within, before being finished with a waterproof seal which lasts 10 years.
